About five years ago a movie of the same title was released with Jim Caviezel, Barry Pepper and Joe Pantoliano. While it is not the a carbon copy, these two movies have a lot in common. Following on Taken where Neeson played an ex-special agent dad on a rampage to find his daughter, here he's a man on a mission again. Dr. Martin Harris and his wife travel to Europe for a seminar. When part of his luggage is left at the airport he heads back, but an accident has the taxi plunge into the river. He awakens in the hospital only to find that someone else has taken over his identity and everyone he knows denies knowledge of his existence. In the race to figure this out he soon discovers more than he bargained for as some mysterious people try to kill him (and whomever gets in the way). As a suspense thriller with that Hitchcock mood, movies like Frantic also comes to mind, but it doesn't quite manage to reach those levels.

Some action will be adequate to keep most viewers engaged, but it doesn't go beyond basic entertainment, as many would have their suspicions in the twist proven correct.

A featurette digs into the characters.
